I got my 2013 Malibu ECO new- and just had to give it up, 12 years and 135,000 miles later. I've never driven a more reliable car, and I'm super sorry to see it go. A broken timing chain did it in- but after all that time it owed me nothing! I just took possession of a 2025 Chevy Equinox EV. I'm hoping that it will do as well for me as my much-loved Malibu did!

Some complaints are about the size of the car, but if you don’t like a compact vehicle don’t buy a car buy a minivan?? This vehicle does have the auto stop feature so be aware of that- not everyone likes it. I have no problems with it, however, it can cause the need for spark plugs to be replaced more frequently depending how you drive. I have had check engine light go on and off for a handful of years with no real issue being found by any mechanics so that’s a little annoying but such a minor issue. This vehicle is so quiet I cannot hear when the engine is on however, when driving fast, it can be a little loud inside the vehicle from the wind and road. Some service places apparently do not have the tools necessary to get inside for services like a fuel system flush I’ve had this vehicle since 2018. The engine has run great, it’s fuel efficient, has great speakers, looks nice inside and out, and has several luxurious features that I really don’t even take advantage of. Overall, there are a few minor complaints, but every vehicle will have those. I highly recommend this car for a single person or couples.
