    • 2nd Silverado 3500 I have owned and would buy more

Just bought this truck last night. It is a one owner, low mileage pampered vehicle that looks and runs like new. We previously owned a 2006 Chevy Silverado 3500, pulled a 39', triple axle 5th wheel RV with it and had no problems. We will be pulling a 41', dual axle 5th wheel RV that is a couple of thousand pounds lighter than the old one. I don't expect any problems at all. I love the Duramax engine and the Allison trans mission is the best in the industry. Ford and Dodge can't compete in that department. I also like the low noise level of the Duramax compared to Ford and Dodge.

I think GM should should at the very least make their engineers that design something as simple as a headlight and its placement, put a new one in themselves. Consumers know how to change a light bulb so you should make them and a few other things easy. Its easy ! otherwise I have no problem liking everything about this truck.
    • Best vehicle I have ever owned

I am the second owner. The previous owner took extremely good care of the truck and used it for his business. It is in excellent shape for the miles that are on the truck. So far the truck has been perfectly reliable, gets great gas mileage for a one ton long bed four door truck (18-22), and has great power. I tow year round and use it to move equipment and other things. Couldn’t be happier with this truck. I hope to get 500,000 miles out of it and so far, there is no indication that it won’t deliver. Two thumbs up to Chevy for building such a great rig.
